Knitting in the car and Robbie concert

Hi all,
have finally started to knit with some of the wool I got from the NEC. I have decided to knit a loose comfortable sloppy Joe with the lilac Oslo. I am using 8mm bamboo pins and its not to bad to knit with (suprisingly) working in stocking stitch its kinda looking ok on one side and very much like a scruffy fleece on the other! Not sure I like it but hey... lets give it a go LOL.
I get very bored in the car and on Tuesday we had to drive to Milton Keynes as we were going to see Robbie Williams in concert( yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) So as usual I decided I was going to knit so I took my pins and the lilac Oslo and started to knit and figure out the shape of the sloppy
Joe managed to get most of the
back done by the time we got there. YES... you did read right .... I do knit
in the car! To sit doing nothing would waste precious knitting time lol!

As for the Robbie concert what can I say.....
absolutely amazing great stage set and lighting fantastic all round entertainer (he talked and danced too with Johnny Wilkes!) He is officially one of the yummist guys around! He has a stage presence that really draws you in...my other half is not a fan and really was dreading it ....but even he had to say he was surprised how much he enjoyed it. Robbie sang 3 songs he liked and made him laugh he said it was like going to a pantomime LOL.
I think I am going to name my sloppy Joe ... Robbie !!!( LOL how sad am I?) I started it on the way there and have to name it in honour of the man who just made my night LOL (60 thousand people standing in a cold packed Milton Keynes Bowl having loads of fun!)

Stash and ramblings

This is a ball of Filati Oslo which is from a pack i was given at the NEC by Sue for the speed knitting which i am amazed to say i won! I was debating knitting it into a sloppy Joe sweater for myself as lilac is my absolute fav colour n i love big baggy warm sweaters in the winter!

This is Rowan 100% wool dk in a gorgeous blue colour that i got
from Sue (yet again! LOL) I am designing another wrap this time
based on stars so i thought this might be kewl to knit it with.
possibly gonna do it on big pins and use it together with a black dk i have that has
a multi colour sparkle in it thought it might give the impression of
a twinkling night sky? Any thoughts on this?

This is a ball or Sirdar curly wurly (right hand side) and Sirdar Fizz
again got from Sue! Am gonna knit the 2 together and make a scarf i think.

This is some Sirdar Vegas is very kinda like loads of fibers shoved together. Like the fact it has purple in it LOL not sure what to do with this any suggestions?

Well that's all the new stuff to my stash but i do have a load of lilac dk black multi-coloured sparkle dk a ball of lilac sparkle dk(left over from my web of love wrap) and various odd balls of sorts knocking about.
